Personal Care / Private Duty

Venerate takes pride in matching our caregivers to clients based on their level of care needed and personality.

We welcome all persons in need of our services without regard to age, disability, race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion or sex. We make no determinations regarding delivery of our services based upon such factors.

This is true whether the service is delivered by a Venerate employee directly or through a contractor or any other entity with which Venerate arranges to carry out its programs and activities.

Personal Care Services

  • Assistance with bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, etc.

  • Assistance with urinals, bedpans and/or commodes

Homemaker Services

  • Routine housekeeping
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Teaching/performing meal planning and preparation
  • Shopping for essential items on client’s behalf
  • Performing errands
  • Companionship Services:
    • Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support
    • Talking, listening and sharing experiences
    • Playing games/cards
    • Reading to client
    • Helping to keep client in contact with family and friends
    • Organizing and reading mail
    • Accompany client on walks

Respite Care Services

  • Relieves regular caregiver
  • Strategy for stress relieve for the caregiver
  • Provides a rest from the physical demands of care giving
  • Provides a way for the caregiver to catch up on sleep, socialization and exercise

Advanced Supportive & Restorative Services

  • Observing the member and reporting the observation
  • Application of Topical Medication
  • Supervise/Assist with the administration of oral medication
  • Prevention of Decubitus (Skin breakdown)
  • Bowel program
  • Basic personal care of Ostomy and catheters
  • Use of transfer devise
  • Application of non-sterile dressings to superficial skin breaks or abrasions
